Shipping and Returns

SHIPPING

We deliver products using Australia Post or a courier service. As on opening special we are offering a flat rate of $10 per order for delivery anywhere within Australia. Orders are dispatched within 3 business days. Shipping times are estimated at between 4 and 7 business days depending on your location and the type of shipping used.

RETURNS

Made on Earth offers a 7 day exchange policy on all products purchased except those sold on a ‘Non-Returnable’ basis which includes ALL items which have been reduced in price or ordered in specifically for a customer order. When returning products for change of mind, a credit note which is valid for 2 months will be issued to the customer.

PLEASE NOTE WE DO NOT REFUND FOR CHANGE OF MIND. REFUNDS WILL ONLY BE ISSUED FOR PRODUCTS THAT ARE FAULTY AND CANNOT BE REPAIRED OR REPLACED.

In the event of a product being damaged in transit, incorrectly shipped or faulty, a replacement item will be shipped to the customer at no extra expense to the customer.  

This Returns Policy forms part of, and is to be read in conjunction with, Made on Earth Terms and Conditions of Purchase. Made on Earth may revise any part of this Returns Policy from time to time without notice. Prices and availability are subject to change without notice. Typographical, product description, pricing, images and other errors are subject to correction, even after orders and/or payment are accepted. Carefully review all return policies (below) before making your purchase. UNWANTED PRODUCTS

Except for products sold on a ‘Non-Returnable Basis' as detailed below, Made on Earth offers a 7 day exchange policy for product in its original, unopened and undamaged packaging.

You must contact our Customer Service staff within 7 days of receipt of the product; otherwise, we cannot authorise a return. You will be issued with a Return Authorisation and you will need to package and address the product for return in accordance with the below procedures (see 'Return Procedures').

The customer is responsible for all costs associated with return of the product to Made on Earth and Made on Earth will not pay or reimburse any associated costs.

Made on Earth recommends that products returned by post be sent by registered or certified mail. Made on Earth accepts no responsibility for loss or damage occurring in transit on return to Made on Earth.

As an alternative to the above, you could personally visit our store with the product you wish to return and a copy of the invoice.

For products which are found to be in their original, unopened and undamaged packaging, a credit will be issued for the original purchase price of product returned less any freight costs associated with the initial delivery to you.

NON-RETURNABLE PRODUCTS

All products that have reduced in price or have been ordered specially for a customer order are sold on a ‘Non-Returnable Basis'.

The term ‘Non-Returnable Basis' means that, unless the product is faulty, damaged in transit, or incorrectly shipped the product will not be accepted for return. 

Please note that events such as wilful damage, misuse, unauthorised repair or tampering with a product may prevent a product being accepted for return.

DAMAGED IN TRANSIT PRODUCTS 

In the event that you receive a product that appears to have been 'Damaged in Transit' that is, damaged in transit from Made on Earth to you, you should notify the staff at our store immediately upon receipt of the product.

 For products which are determined by Made on Earth to have been damaged in transit, a replacement product where available, will be resent to you and we will arrange for the product to be collected from you for return to Made on Earth. In the event of a product being unavailable to resend, a refund may be issued.

Please note that events such as wilful damage, misuse, unauthorised repair or tampering with a product will prevent a product being accepted for return.


INCORRECTLY SHIPPED PRODUCTS

In the event that you receive a product that is different to the one ordered you should notify the staff at our store immediately upon receipt of the product.

For products which are determined by Made on Earth to have been ‘Incorrectly Shipped’, a replacement product where available, will be resent to you and we will arrange for the product to be collected from you for return to Made on Earth. In the event of a product being unavailable to resend, a refund may be issued.

If it is found by Made on Earth that the product was shipped correctly (for example, where you have ordered the wrong product by mistake) it will be your responsibility to return the product at your own cost and incur freight charges to have another product sent to you. 

Please note that events such as wilful damage, misuse, unauthorised repair or tampering with a product may prevent a product being accepted for return.




FAULTY PRODUCT


In the event that the product you have received is faulty on receipt or develops a fault, you may be able to return it under one of the procedures above.

For products which are determined by Made on Earth to be faulty, a replacement product where available, will be resent to you and we will arrange for the faulty product to be collected from you for return to Made on Earth. In the event of a replacement product being unavailable to resend, a refund may be issued.

Please note that events such as wilful damage, misuse, unauthorised repair or tampering with a product will prevent a product being accepted for return.

RETURNS PROCEDURE

All goods to be returned, whether defective or not, will require acceptance from Made on Earth before they can be returned. To obtain a return authorisation, please contact our staff by telephone on (02) 9252 2322 or by e-mail at enquiries@madeonearth.com.au.



You will need to supply the following information, most of which will be on your invoice before we can issue a return authorisation:

  
* Name and contact details of original purchaser.
 
* Our reference number
  
* Date on packing slip or invoice
  
* Reason for return
  
* Your name and contact details.



Return authorisations are only valid for 7 days, so we must receive the returned product into our store within this period.

It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that all products are suitably packaged in order to prevent damage during return shipping.


A copy of the original packing slip or invoice, or other proof of purchase, must be included with the returned product.

PROCESSING CREDITS / REFUNDS

All credit notes / refunds will be issued within 7 days of us receiving the goods returned in accordance with this Returns Policy.

 The credit note which is issued can then be used as a payment against future purchases.
